As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities, the National Institute of Technology (NIT) in collaboration with Faruk Medical City organized a series of awareness activities.
The program included:
First: A seminar titled "Breast Cancer: Causes and Treatment" presented by Dr. Nariman Mohammed Aziz, Consultant Surgeon and Specialist in Breast Diseases at Faruk Medical City.
Second: A practical training session on self-examination techniques, presented by Ms. Tafga Raouf Salih and Ms. Lafa Satar Hama-Amin, Nurses at Faruk Medical City.
The aim of the activity was to raise awareness among staff and students about the importance of early detection and prevention.
